Frequently Asked Questions
Will meals be provided?
We will be providing dinner at the wedding reception on Friday, 9/5 and plan on having light breakfast food available at the villas the next morning (9/6). Aside from these events, meals will be up to you! You are welcome to get your own groceries or eat at one of the many amazing nearby restaurants. Most grocery stores are near the airport or in Mykonos Town, about a 10-15 minute drive away.
What about drinks?
Our welcome drink event on Wednesday, 9/3 will include a few drinks for everyone (think beer and wine) and the boat ride on Thursday offers an “unlimited” drink package for €25/person. Lindsey and Sierra will reach out about coordinating this in the weeks leading up to the trip. We will also have a more complete bar for the pre-wedding cocktails and reception on 9/5, where there should be enough to go around for everyone! If you’re looking to buy some supplemental beverages to have for the week there are liquor stores and beach bars all around the island, and we highly recommend picking up liquor at a duty free airport store on the way in (island prices get expensive).
What is nearby? How can we get around?
Elia Beach and town is less than a mile away from the villas. It is a walkable path, with views to boot! The villas do offer a $10 per person shuttle service all around the island if you prefer to explore further away from home base. This service runs 24/7 and is available at short notice. If you picture yourself needing to get around the island more frequently, you can also rent a car at the airport.
Where are we sleeping?
When you arrive you will be shown to your room by Lindsey or Sierra. The villas are beautiful and comfortable, and each room is well equipped for any guest. Expect typical hotel accommodations and reach out to Lindsey or Sierra with any questions. The villas are a 5-minute walk from each other (about 400m).
